INTERNATIONAL YAM DAY

Yamalamadingdong - We don’t know either. Just use it in a sentence. We dare you.

Yamadelic -What happens when you eat a bad yam.

Yammer- To talk in a boasting way, preferably about yams.

Yamzilla -Someone who eats all the yams at a family gathering.

Yamily - A family that loves to eat yams.

Yameo - When yams make a brief appearance and disappear. Because they are ninjas. **(sidenote: associating ninjas with yams….amazing!!)**

Yamatude - Having the attitude of a yam.

Yam-A-Palooza - An epic gathering of yam like proportions.

Yamtastic - An exciting exclamation of joy and love of yams.

Now, I wish I could take credit for this. This song was sent to me around the time of our first celebration of International Yam Day. The author was referring to Christmas with his/her piece but the message is one of outright praise for the Yam. This is one of the many examples of how the yam has affected us - enthusiasts are truly found worldwide!
